A member of the University of Cincinnati staff since 2004, Cianciola was promoted in July 2016 to Director of Olympic Sports Services. She provides administrative assistance to all 11 Olympic sports. Her duties include creation and execution of game contracts, overseeing the UC Donation Request process and assisting in the completion of departmental and NCAA documentation, including travel authorizations and expense reports for recruiting, official visits and team travel.
Additionally, Cianciola assists with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (Community Service), the Professional Sports Council Panel and serves on the One Team Committee and the C-PAWS Advisory Board. She is a member of NACWAA (National Association of Collegiate Women’s Athletics Administrators).
Prior to joining the Bearcats staff, Cianciola worked as an assistant to the Athletic Director at Huron High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Cianciola joined the UC staff as an administrative assistant in the UCATS Development office and men's and women’s Basketball offices.
Cianciola earned her BA in Kinesiology (Sports Management and Communications) from the University of Michigan, before graduating summa cum laude from the University of Cincinnati with a Masters of Social Work in 2013 and Masters of Health Education (Public and Community Health) in 2014.
