Jeff Hericks is entering his ninth year at the University of Cincinnati and his first year serving as the Director of Olympic Sports Equipment Operations.
In his role, Hericks works directly with the Bearcats men's and women's soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, men's and women's track and field, and baseball teams while assisting with the remaining Olympic sports and the football team.
Hericks also oversees the purchasing, storing, issuing, fitting and repairing of all athletics equipment and works directly with adidas to outfit the Bearcats in accordance with the NCAA, BIG EAST Conference and University rules and regulations. His other responsibility is tracking and accounting for the $1.5 million adidas contract the athletic department maintains with adidas.
A native of Cincinnati, Hericks' previous experience includes stints as Olympic equipment manager (2008-2011), head football equipment manager (2004-2008) and assistant football equipment manager (2002-2004) at UC. He began his collegiate career as the head football equipment manager at the University of Toledo (1994-2002).
Hericks, a 1990 graduate of Cincinnati's Moeller High School is married to former the Missie Flinker and has two children, Nathan and Ryan.
