Katie Pavel, a graduate of Northern Kentucky University, joined the University of Cincinnati staff in 2010, working in the athletic development office.

She was named an assistant director of development in 2012 after serving two years as a sports program associate for UCATS. In her current role, Pavel is primarily responsibile for the management of sport specific campaigns, specifically the development, growth, and promotion for sport specific booster clubs for all varsity sports. She also assists with external operations with a focus on prospecting and growth initiatives.

Pavel was named the sports progam associate in March 2010 and handled the planning, coordination and implementation of donor relation outings and fundraising events for UCATS from 2010-12.

Pavel earned her bacher of science in sports administration from Northern Kentucky University in 2009.
