Dianna Rafferty joined the UC staff in May 2012 and currently serves as the UCATS assistant director for development and major gifts. She is the point of contact for high-level donors for their ticketing and parking needs. Rafferty also assists with ticket administration for donors, implementation of service programs, and arrangement of ordering and delivering of gift items.
Rafferty comes to UC after serving as a development assistant at her alma mater of University of Tennessee, where she assisted with various donor programs, including the annual Salute to Excellence dinner and the Lady Vols Guest Coaches program. She also assisted and maintained the organization of Lady Vol skybox guests, and helped raise $18,450 in new money for the Tennessee Fund from December 2011-May 2012. Rafferty also served as a student assistant for two seasons in the athletic development department.
Rafferty also held brief internships in the UC athletic development department, where she assisted in planning meetings for the George Smith Society, Black Blazer Society and the UCATS Riverboat Cruise. She also held an internship with the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund, where she was in charge of Aaron's Aces ticket program and assisted with planning the first Civil Rights game to be held by an MLB team.
The Fort Thomas, Ky. native graduated from Tennessee with a bachelor's degree in sports management in December 2010, where she was also a member of the Volunteers' cheerleading squad. She earned her master's degree in sport studies from UT in December 2011.
