Rose Smith joined the University of Cincinnati's athletics department in September 1998. In her current role, Smith provides physical therapy and athletic training care for student-athletes through the sports medicine department as well as other members of the UC community. She also in providing medical coverage for the women's soccer team and is an assistant professor at the College of Allied Health Sciences.
Prior to joining the sports medicine team, Smith worked as a physical therapist for the Department of Orthopaedics at UC. She transitioned to providing physical therapy and athletic training services in 1998 when she was hired by the Department of Athletics.
Smith received her bachelor of science in physical therapy from the University of Pennsylvania, a master of education from UC and her doctorate in physical therapy from Temple University.
