A former member of the University of Cincinnati track and field team, Wright currently oversees all compliance aspects for men's and women's soccer and lacrosse, while assisting with compliance issues for men's and women's basketball.
Prior to joining the Bearcats staff, Wright was an NCAA goverance intern, where he trained in the application of NCAA legislation and interpretations in Division I. His main responsibilities were to attend Division I Board of Directors, cabinet, and council meetings and assist the Division I SAAC. Additionally, he was a facilitator for the NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum and a social committee chair at the NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar.
Wright also held internships at the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Covergys Corporation in Cincinnati.
He earned his bachelor of arts in political science from UC in 2007 and graduated from the Howard University School of Law in May 2010.
