TAILGATE WITH THE BEARCATS

Tailgating is part of the fun of attending college football games and fans attending University of Cincinnati home games have several options for their pregame celebrating. There are two on-campus tailgating lots back again for the 2009 season and five additional off-campus tailgating lots from which to choose. That is more than 500 off-campus tailgating spaces. Tailgating not only guarantees a great parking space, but allows you to pack your own food, grills, beverages, and all the necessary essentials for your very own pregame party.

CAMPUS TAILGATING LOTS

Passes are sold on a season basis. Season passes are $120 each space.

Corry Lot: Located next to the Marge Scott Stadium and overlooks UC's athletic facilities.

Sander Lot: Located just below Corry Lot on W. Charlton Street.

Additional Area Tailgating Lots:

Schiel School Lot: Located on the corn of Vine and Daniels Street, across from the Sigma Sigma House.

Bogart's Lot: Located behind Bogart's on the corner of Glendora Street and Corry Boulevard.

Martino's Lot: Located directly behind Martino's Restaurant on Short Vine.

Charlton Lot: Adjacent to LaRosa's on Short Vine.

Benchmark Lot: Across from the Post Office on Short Vine.

Tailgating Options:

-Bearcat Family Zone: Join us at the BEARCATST FAMILY ZONE located on Sheakley Lawn before every UC home football game. Kids of all ages can enjoy inflatable games, music, cornhole, giveaways, the Kid's Club Coloring Contest, and visits from the UC Bearcat. The BEARCATS FAMILY ZONE is available two and a half hours prior to kick-off and can be accessed from Corry Avenue, located west of Marge Schott Stadium. Be sure to bring your youngest Bearcats fan to enjoy all of the unique pregame fun.

-Bearcat Blitz: The UC Alumni Association hosts pregame activities just north of Nippert Stadium at the Myers Alumni Center and Sigma Sigma Commons. The BEARCAT BLITZ starts four hours before game time and runs until 30 minutes prior to kickoff so fans can be in their seat for the start of the game.

The BEATCAT BLITZ features a cookout with food and beverage vendors, cornhole, and plenty of open space (bring you football!). Also, corporate and group tents can be rented on Sigma Sigma Commons prior to each game. Inside the Myers Alumni Center, the BEARCAT BLITZ offers food and drinks, big-screen TV, and plenty of fun with UC alums. The parking lot next to the Myers Alumni Center offers first-come, first-serve tailgating for UC Alumni Association Sustaining and Life Members.

-CATWALK: Do not miss the chance to participate in a great UC tradition- the CATWALK, which occurs approximately two hours and fifteen minutes before the game time. Join the Bearcat, UC cheerleaders and band to fire up the football team and coaches as they pass through the BEARCAT BLIZT on their pregame walk to Nippert Stadium.
