2005-06: UC's top distance freestyler...won five individual titles, including both the 500m (5:04.34) and 1650m free (17:08.76) against Wright State...posted a personal-best 16:59.17 in the 1650 free at the Miami Invitational... qualified for BIG EAST Championships in 500 free, 1650 free and 400m IM, placing 12th in 1650 free.

2004-05: Posted personal bests in 200m freestyle (1:56.67), 500 freestyle (5:07.58), and 1650 freestyle (17:24.14) at C-USA Championships...finished eighth in 1650 free...also finished 10th in the 1650 freestyle at the Indiana Invitational...placed third in the 1000 freestyle in dual meets against Ohio State, Kentucky, and Louisville.

2003-04: Finished seventh at Conference USA meet in 1650 freestyle, registering a season-best 17:27.52...also placed 15th in 500 free with a 5:10.16.

Previous Experience: Won the national meet in the 200 breaststroke in 1998, and placed third in the 800 in 2002 while at Mission Viejo High... helped set national record for the 200 free relay... named MVP her senior year... qualified for the Mexican National Team in 2002.

Personal: Born Sept. 8, 1984... daughter of Rogelio and Beatriz Rivas... majoring in communications.
