The University of Cincinnati swimming and diving teams swept dual meet victories from Wright State on Jan. 28 at St. Xavier's Keating Natatorium. The men improved their dual meet record to 5-6 on the year with a 113-91 victory. The women (4-6-1) won, 114-90. BEARCATS TO OPEN KEATING NATATORIUM:

The UC swimming and diving teams will welcome the addition of the new Keating Natatorium in the heart of Lindner Varsity Village on the Cincinnati campus. The Bearcats have spent the last three years training at St. Xavier High School. The lack of diving facilities at St. Xavier has made it difficult for UC to field a competitive diving squad. Keating Natatorium will give the Bearcats an opportunity to host home meets and field an entire team. The natatorium is slated to open in February.

UP NEXT:

UC will open the 2006 BIG EAST Championships on Thur., Jan. 15 in Long Island, N.Y. The four-day competition will close on Sun., Jan. 18.
