The University of Cincinnati track & field programs are back in action this weekend in the Rod McCravy Invitational after taking the last week to train. The Bearcats head to Lexington, Ky. for a two-day meet that will feature a number of nationally ranked programs.

This week's meet will feature some of the nation's top talent with three ranked programs competing on both the men's and women's side. All three ranked teams on the women' side are in the top 10 with No. 3 Florida, No. 4 Oregon and No. 6 Kentucky. The men's side features No. 2 Florida, No. 3 Oregon and No. 24 Alabama.

The Bearcats enter the weekend with have five student-athletes currently ranked Top 50 nationally. Sophomore Michael Nwankwo is the highest ranked UC athlete coming in at 14th in the triple jump at 50' 0.5". Senior pole vaulter Josh Dangel ranks 15th with a clearance of 17' 3.75, but would be ranked seventh if his mark of 17' 8.5" from the unsanctioned Pole Vault Summit would have counted. Sophomore Alyssa McBride sits tied for 26th in the pole vault at 13' 0.25", and fellow classmate Erika Hurd is tied for 30th in the high jump at 5' 8.75". Sophomore transfer Macklin Tudor comes in at 50th in the shot put with a toss of 56' 7.25".
