2012 cross country season: No. 2 finisher for UC at University of Dayton's Flyer 5k Challenge at Indian Riffle Park in Kettering, placing 24th overall in 19:31.6...ran No. 2 for the Bearcats for the second week, finishing sixth overall at the Queen City Invitational at Cincinnati's Mount Airy Park, running the 5k course in 19:14.10, shaving 17 seconds off her time from the previous meet...was 82nd overall and No. 3 for UC at Vanderbilt University's Commodore Classic at Percy Ward Park in Nashville, running the 6k course in 23:25.50...ran No. 3 for UC and finished 17th overall at the All-Ohio Collegiate Championships at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course in Cedarville, completing the 5k course in 18:49.15...was No. 4 for the Bearcats at the Pre-Nationals Invitational at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, finishing 132nd overall in 23:18.9 over the 6k course...finished 79th overall and No. 4 for UC at the BIG EAST Conference championship meet at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, N.Y., running the 6k course in 23:47.88...finished the NCAA Great Lakes Regional with a time of 22:14, good for 100th place...
High school: Regional qualifier in cross country in 2011, 4x800 in 2012...holds school record for 3,200 meters...first-team all-league cross country 2011...Wendy's Heisman Award, Anthony Munoz Award...National Honors Society...graduated in top 10 percent of class...personal bests: 5k - 19:07, 3,200 meters - 11:19, 1,600 meters - 5:15, 800-meter relay split - 2:24.07
A FEW THINGS ABOUT ANNE...
Family: Father Dale, and mother, Laura. I have a really close family and they mean everything to me! I have a mom, dad, an older sister, and a younger sister. They support me at all of my meets. I love seeing them at the finish line when I am finished racing! I come from a family of runners, my mom ran at UC for Coach Schnier and I ran in high school on the same team as my sisters.

Favorite thing to do when you're not studying or training?: Hanging out with athletes in Turner

Favorite place in Cincinnati?: Rapid Run Park
Why did you choose UC?: I chose UC because of the many competitive majors it offers is health care and health sciences and the strong track/cross country program.
Future career plans?: I want to become a pediatrician and work at Children's Hospital.
