2012 cross country season: No. 6 runner for UC at the University of Dayton's Flyer 5k Challenge at Indian Riffle Park in Kettering, placing 56th overall in 21:25.0...was the No. 6 finisher for UC and 34th overall at the Queen City Invitational at Cincinnati's Mount Airy Forest, running the 5k in 21:06.24, improving almost 19 seconds from the week prior...finished 148th overall and No. 6 for UC at Vanderbilt University's Commodore Classic at Percy Ward Park in Nashville, completing the 6k course in 24:54.88...was No. 7 for UC at the All-Ohio Collegiate Championships at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course in Cedarville, placing 38th overall and completing the 5k course in 20:24.36...finished 206th at the Pre-Nationals Invitational at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville in the unseeded race, completing the 6k course in 24:28.8...was 115th overall and No. 7 for UC at the BIG EAST Conference championship meet at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, N.Y., completing the 6k course in 25:37.03
Family: Father, Michael and mother, Katy, and brother, Brian. My dad is aretired Air Force officer and currently works for the Army. He is involved in JPAC and finding lost veteran remains from various overseas conflicts. He is from Akron, Ohio. My mom is a nurse and a personal trainer. She is from Hagerstown, Maryland. My brother is currently a sophomore at Miamisburg High School. He is involved in the cross country and track team.

Why did you choose UC?: I was interested in the DAAP program and loved the idea of the co-op programs.
Future career plans?: I want to become a graphic designer.
