2012 cross country season: competing as an unattached runner, finished 12th in the open race at the All-Ohio Collegiate Championships at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course in Cedarville, completing the 8k course in 26:20.97...

High school: Conference champion in the two-mile run and state meet qualifier in cross country...personal bests: 800 meters 2:01, 1,600 meters 4:33, 3,200 meters 9:37, 5k 16:18...awarded Columbus-area Outstanding Christian Leader Award as a senior...earned Wendy's High School Heisman honor for combination of classroom, community and sports achievement.

Favorite competition course?: Van Cortlandt Park in New York City

Favorite place at UC?: The Armory Fieldhouse. There is a lot of history in that building and we practice there almost every day.

Hobbies?: Basketball, gardening, golfing

Why did you choose UC?: It was the perfect fit for all my needs: running, team chemistry, business school, campus style, campus life, distance from home.

Future career plans?: Pursue a career as a professional running with a goal of making it to the Olympics in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Anything else?: I lived in London, England, for three years.
