Carl Bouldin

  • Three-year letterman in basketball.
  • Co-captain of the 1960-61 Bearcats that won the school's first national championship.
  • Standout pitcher on the baseball team, compiling a 14-3 record and a 238 ERA as a senior.
  • Drafted by both the Cincinnati Royals of the NBA and the Washington Senators of major league baseball.
  • Ultimately chose to pursue a career in pro baseball and played in the Washington and Chicago White Sox organizations.
  • UC Athletic Hall of Fame 1982.
