  • Played two seasons each of basketball, softball, tennis archery, field hockey, fencing, badminton, volleyball and sharpshooting.
  • Recipient of the Red Blazer in 1943, the most prestigious award for female student-athletes.
  • Participated in amateur basketball, winning Ohio MVP honors in 1949.
  • Continued to play amateur softball following graduation, attaining state-wide notoriety during her 25-year career.
