Billy Wolff

  • Three-year regular (freshmen were ineligible), starting at third base as a sophomore and playing his final two seasons in the outfield.
  • Three-time All-Missouri Valley Conference selection, earning first team honors his sophomore and senior seasons and was second team as a junior.
  • Led UC in hitting his sophomore (.318) and senior (.382) campaigns.
  • Established UC records for RBIs (34) and triples (8).
  • Earned first team All-District 5 honors as a senior.
  • First team All-American selection (The Sporting News) in 1965.
  • Drafted third by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 1965 free agent draft.
  • Played in the minor leagues for seven seasons.
  • Served as head baseball coach at Xavier University in 1972.
  • UC Athletic Hall of Fame 1987.
