Youkilis Leads Tight Race in AL All-Star Voting

With two days remaining in the American League balloting for starters for the 2009 Major League Baseball All-Star Game in St. Louis on July 14, former University of Cincinnati baseball player and current Boston Red Sox first baseman Kevin Youkilis leads New York Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira by 40,047 votes. Youkilis and Teixeira have swapped spots for the past five weeks and last week, Teixeira was ahead by 35,632 ballots. (more)

Baseball Adjusts Summer Camps Schedule

6/19/2009 - The Bearcats Baseball Camps set for Monday, June 22 and Monday, July 6, have been adjusted, head coach Brian Cleary announced today. Both the June 22 and July 6 camps have been moved to the August 11 at Marge Schott Stadium. (more)
