CINCINNATI – In celebration to the start of the 2012 season, the University of Cincinnati baseball team will host its second annual First Pitch Reception on Friday, Feb. 10, at the Riverfront Club in Great American Ball Park.
The festivities are scheduled from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and admission is free, but attendees must register by Monday, Feb. 6. The event is limited to the first 200 guests and registration will be accepted until full.
The event will feature appetizers and an open bar. Parking vouchers for guests will be provided for those who park in the Central Riverfront Garage.

The UC baseball team, coming off a 30-27 record and a fourth-place finish in the BIG EAST Conference standing in 2011, is the middle of preseason training in preparation for its season opener on Feb. 17 against Purdue in Clearwater, Fla. as part of the BIG EAST/Big Ten Challenge.
