BOCA RATON, Fla. — The University of Cincinnati baseball team’s season-opening game at Florida Atlantic University, originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET today (Feb. 15), has been pushed back by one day due to inclement weather.
The Bearcats and Owls will now play a doubleheader, featuring two nine-inning ballgames, starting at noon ET Saturday at the FAU Baseball Stadium.
Friday night’s game was postponed with the National Weather Service calling for a 100 percent chance of precipitation and rain showers until 2 a.m.
Saturday’s forecast is more ideal for baseball, with the NWS predicting an initial cloudy outlook before gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 74 degrees.
