The University of Cincinnati baseball team hosts the fifth annual Joe Nuxhall Classic at Marge Schott Stadium on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Bearcats open the four-team, two-day tournament by playing crosstown rival Xavier University at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The first game of the tournament will pit Miami (Ohio) versus Wright State beginning at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The two winners from Day 1 will square off Day 2 and the two losers from the first day will play for third place.
UC will also play at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, regardless of Tuesday's outcomes.
The Bearcats will try to reclaim the Nuxhall Classic title from Miami, which won it last season. Prior to 2012, UC won the tournament two years in a row.
Fr. RHP Austin Pritchard will make his second start of the season Tuesday vs. XU.
Cincinnati starter on Wednesday is TBA.
A live radio broadcast of both UC games can be heard on 1480 WDJO-AM.

True freshman right-handed pitcher Austin Pritchard will make his second start as a Bearcat on Tuesday vs. Xavier.
In five appearances totaling 10 innings pitched in 2013, the Strongsville, Ohio native owns a 4.50 ERA with two walks and six strikeouts.
On March 30 at St. John's, Pritchard made his first collegiate start and allowed four runs on five hits with one strikeout in 4 1-3 innings.
Wednesday's starting pitcher for the Bearcats is to be determined.

Xavier finished 2012 with an even 28-28 overall record, including 13-11 in the Atlantic 10 Conference, which was good for a seventh-place seed in the league's postseason tournament.
The Musketeers were tabbed to again place seventh in the 2013 A-10 preseason coaches' poll.
Xavier R-Jr. OF/RHP Vinny Nittoli was named A-10 Co-Player of the Week on March 25.

UC and Xavier have played 133 games all time, with UC owning an 84-48-1 advantage in the series.
The first two meetings took place during the 1947 season, with UC winning both contests.
Last season Xavier topped the Bearcats in all three matchups.

Freshman infielder Ian Happ posted a 21-game reached base safely streak from Feb. 24 through April 3. During the streak, Happ produced at least one hit in 18 of those games and batted .324 with 18 runs scored, one home run and 12 RBIs and reached base at a .486 rate.
Happ leads the BIG EAST Conference in walks (28) and is tied for sixth in the league lead in doubles (10).
Happ also ranks second in the league in on-base percentage (.462) and seventh in the conference in stolen bases with 13.

Junior outfielder Justin Glass saw a 13-game hit streak come to end April 7 vs. No. 9 Louisville. He hit .414 during the streak with 10 runs scored and 8 RBIs.
Glass was named to the BIG EAST Conference weekly honor roll on March 25 for his performance in four games.
Glass batted an impressive .444 (8 for 18) with two runs scored and five RBIs while slugging .444 and reaching base at a .474 clip in four contests versus Northern Kentucky and South Florida.
For the year, Glass is tied for third in the BIG EAST in hits with fourth in at-bats.
The 6-foot-2 slugger leads the Bearcats in batting average, RBIs, hits and runs.
Glass is the second Bearcat to receive this honor in 2013 after freshman infielder Forrest Perron received the award March 4.
