The University of Cincinnati Baseball team will host Georgetown for the final home series of the season at Marge Schott Stadium this weekend. Game times are slated for Thursday at 6:30p.m., Friday at 6:30p.m., and Saturday at 1:00p.m.
Many promotional activities are on tap for the weekend including the celebration of Cancer Awareness Night on Thursday. The first 100 fans into the gate will receive a free pink UC bandana. The University of Cincinnati baseball team has adopted 10-year-old cancer survivor Alexander Massengill as an honorary teammate through The Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, who will throw out the first pitch at the game. On Friday evening, fans will be entertained by Team Fastrax from Start Skydiving who will by skydiving into the stadium to deliver the game ball. Be sure to arrive at approximately 6:20 to witness them jump from their plane and land safely inside Marge Schott Stadium. Fans are encouraged to wear WHITE to Friday’s game and the first 100 fans will receive a white UC t-shirt along with Bearcat Bingo card to play during the game for the chance to win prizes. At the concession stands Friday, fans can purchase $1 hot dogs.
To conclude the season, all ten UC Senior Baseball Players will be honored pre-game on Saturday starting at approximately 12:50pm. In honor of Armed Forces Day, active and past members of the military along with their friends and family will be admitted to the game for just $1 per person with an ID. On Saturday, kids 12 and under are invited to run the bases following the conclusion of the game.
Be sure to come to Marge Schott Stadium this weekend to help cheer on the Bearcats in their final series of the season. Parking is available at the Corry Garage next to the stadium.
Tickets for each game are just $5 for adults, $3 for youth/seniors and $1 for groups of 10 or more.
