David Fluker is in his seventh season as athletics trainer for the men`s basketball team, and is responsible for supervising the team's health and nutrition.
Fluker, who joined the staff in October, 2003, previously held the same position at Xavier University for seven years. He has compiled over two decades of experience in the athletics training field, serving as staff athletics trainer for three private sports medicine clinics in the Cincinnati area. He was also a graduate assistant athletics trainer at Michigan State in 1986-88.
Fluker served as a volunteer athletics trainer at the Olympic Training Center in 2002 and was on staff for the United States at the 2003 Pan American Games.
Fluker earned his bachelor's degree at Wilmington College in 1986 and completed his master's in sports medicine at Michigan State in 1988.
