Armein Kirkland's versatility enabled him to contribute in a number of roles, which made his season-ending loss all the more problematic for Cincinnati. Kirkland suffered a knee injury in the Jan. 9 Connecticut game which required surgery.

2005-06 SEASON:
• Scored in double figures in nine of his last 12 games.
• Averaged 14.0 points over his last two games, shooting .529 from the field.
• Had 14 points in 12 minutes vs. Connecticut before leaving the game with a season-ending knee injury.
• Played a key role in the win over Marquette (1/7/06), scoring seven points in the 15-2 run which regained the lead and finishing with 14 points, five rebounds and three assists in a career-high 37 minutes.
• Versatility shown in his performance vs. LSU (12/23/05), when he accumulated 12 points, four rebounds and four assists.
• Ignited the win over Ohio (12/14/05) with a pair of early treys and finished with 11 points.

• Aided the team's ball-handling down the stretch of the season, averaging 3.2 assists over his last six games.
• Fourth on team in scoring (10.3) and third in 3-pointers (39).
• Keyed the regular season-ending win over Memphis (3/5/05) with 16 points.
• Scored 14 points in the win over UAB (2/19/05), sinking a pair of free throws with 9.9 seconds remaining to provide UC with its 72-69 win.
• Recorded a career-high eight assists vs. Wake Forest (1/22/05) to go with 14 points and seven rebounds.
• Named Conference USA Player of the Week (Jan. 3-9) after averaging 20.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists in wins over DePaul (1/6/05) and Saint Louis (1/8/05). He shot .593 (16-of-27) from the field.
• Tallied 22 points, one shy of his career high, accompanied by six rebounds and five assists in the win over Saint Louis (1/8/05).
• Scored 18 points, going 8-of-11 from the field, and grabbed a career-high nine rebounds in the win over DePaul (1/6/05).
• Had 19 points, including an 8-of-10 performance from the foul line, in the win over Detroit (12/11/04).

• Grabbed seven rebounds and scored four points in the NCAA opening round win over East Tennessee State (3/19/04).
• Hero of the 64-62 C-USA Tournament quarterfinal win over Louisville (3/11/04), scoring the game-winning basket with 16.9 seconds remaining, and finished with season-high 12 points and a career-high seven assists.
• Had seven points, five rebounds and four assists in the C-USA championship game win over DePaul (3/13/04).
• Scored six points to go along with six rebounds and four assists vs. No. 20 Memphis (3/6/04).
• Recorded five assists and a career-high three steals to go with 10 points in the win over No. 23 Dayton (12/23/03).
• Tallied a season-high 12 points vs. Middle Tennessee (12/20/03), going 5-of-9 from the field.

2002-03 SEASON:
• Became the backup at the small forward position and saw action at the power forward spot when the team went to a quicker lineup.
• Finished his freshman season strong, averaging 10.3 points over his final four games.
• Scored a career-high 18 points in the win over UAB (3/5/03).
• Scored game-clinching basket with 2.6 seconds left, then intercepted the inbounds pass in the win over LaSalle.
• Played 13 minutes in the Xavier game, collecting four points, five rebounds and three assists.
• Came off the bench to score nine points, including a pair of key baskets, in the win over East Carolina (1/22/03).

PRE-CINCINNATI CAREER:
