Sophomore guard Deonta Vaughn dropped a season-high eight assists against the Irish.  The mark was one short of his career high of nine set on Nov. 10, 2007 against Western Carolina.  UC's leading scorer and the reigning BIG EAST Conference Player of the Week, Vaughn scored 10 points for his lowest scoring output since tallying 10 points at Xavier on Dec. 12, 2007.


Senior forward John Williamson totaled 10 points on 5-of-9 field goal shooting.  Williamson extends his streak of double-digit scoring games to five straight.


Freshman Larry Davis made 4-of-6 from the floor and scored all 10 of his points in eight minutes of action in the second half.  For Davis, it marked the third double-digit scoring effort of his rookie season.


Notre Dame netted 47.1 percent of its field goal tries (24-of-51).  It marked the highest shooting percentage against UC since St. John's made good on 24-of-47 from the floor (51.1 percent).


Cincinnati fired 75 shots at the Joyce Center baskets.  The 75 attempts are the most field goal attempts by UC this season.


The 91 points allowed by Cincinnati are the most this season and the most given up by UC since the 85-77 loss at N.C. State on Dec. 23, 2007.


Cincinnati outscored Notre Dame 38-26 on points in the paint.  UC also outdueled ND in points off the bench, 40-16.


Owning the third-longest win streak in the nation, Notre Dame stretches its string to 31 consecutive victories.
