The Bearcats loss snaps a three-game winning streak and a seven-game BIG EAST road winning streak.
UC has won 10 of the last 13 BIG EAST regular-season contests dating to the 2010-11 season.

UC entered the game ranked ninth nationally in turnover margin (+4.8). They were -1 at West Virginia, just the third time the Bearcats were on the negative side of the turnover margin this season.

Yancy Gates posted his second straight double-double (sixth of the season and the 18th of his career) with 10 points and a season-high 13 rebounds.
Cashmere Wright scored 17 points, his most in a BIG EAST game this season and his third straight double-figure scoring effort. He tied a career-high with seven rebounds and had four assists.
Dion Dixon scored 12 points and has scored in double figures in all but two contests in 2011-12 with 56 career double-figure scoring efforts. Dixon moved into 38th place on UC's scoring list with 1,077 career points. He posted a career-high nine assists (previous career-high was six against Seton Hall on 12/31/10).
Sean Kilpatrick scored 12 points, his 18th double-figure scoring game of the season the 35th of his career. He hit a pair of three-pointers and has made a three-pointer in 19 straight games (2.9 per game during that span).
Jaquon Parker scored nine points off the bench and has scored 21 points off the bench over the last two games (10.5 per game).
The Bearcats returns to Fifth Third Arena for a Big Monday tilt against No. 1/1 Syracuse on Monday, Jan. 23, at 7 p.m. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN.
