Cincinnati Quotes:
Head Coach Mick Cronin
On getting the win:
"I felt Northern did a great job, and that's what we needed. Getting a team to come in and play the way they played against us, exploiting some of our weaknesses, out-hustling us, really sent a message."

On the plan going into the game:
"We purposely didn't prepare for them to play five guards; I wanted our guys to have to deal with some adversity. To get something out of the game tonight, I felt the best thing for us was to be suprised."

On defending NKU's guards:
"I felt we came out with no ball pressure and we allowed them to run their offense. If you allow teams to do that, you eliminate the athleticism difference in opponents."

On NKU's three point shooting:
"I think our guys were a little suprised with some of the shots they made... (Mark) Hawkins is a great shooter. He made several of them, as well as (Vincent) Humphrey who made over 40% (of his three point shots) last year."

Adam Hrycaniuk
On his first game for Cincinnati:
"I felt a little better before the game started, but during the game I felt embarrassed because they were out-hustling us. They really played good today."

On NKU's fast start:
"They were making shots, and we just didn't step out and guard them. Even if they are a Division II team, we should still out-hustle them and we didn't do that. They deserve all the credit for today's game."

Anthony McClain
On his first game for Cincinnati:
"I was a little nervous, but it was tough out there trying to defend their guards. They played really hard."
