CINCINNATI MEN'S BASKETBALL POSTGAME NOTES

UC's 99 points sets the mark for the most scored under head coach Mick Cronin. The previous mark was 97 against Utah Valley on Dec. 11, 2010.
The Bearcats 9-0 start is the program's best under Cronin and UC's best since winning 11-straight games to open the 2004-05 campaign.
Cincinnati started the game on a 12-4 run that included two three-pointers and an assist from Rashad Bishop.
Starting at the 10:02 mark of the first half and lasting through 7:20 mark, UC went on a 9-0 run that featured six points from Dion Dixon.
UC went on a 7-0 run over a 1:05-minute span that ended at the 1:07 mark in the first.
The Bearcats outrebounded Georgia Southern 30-14 in the first half.
Starting at the 15:34 mark in the second half, Cincinnati went on an 18-4 run to increase its lead to 78-35. The run lasted a span of 5:45.
UC led by as many as 48 (3:30/2nd) and never trailed in the contest.
Six different Bearcats scored in double figures, the first time that's occurred since Dec. 30, 2005 vs. North Carolina A&T.
Cincinnati's bench outscored Georgia Southern's 42-4.
After shooting a perfect 7-7 the previous game vs. Utah Valley (12/11), senior forward Rashad Bishop started tonight 2-2 from three-point range while adding an assist and a block within the first 3:57 minutes of the game. He finished the game shooting 4-4 from the field and 2-2 from the free-throw line for 12 points.
On the season, Bishop is 17-17 from the charity stripe and 11-for-11 from the field in the past two games.
Senior forward Ibrahima Thomas led all scorers with 11 points in the first half, and finished the game with 12.
Junior guard Dion Dixon, senior forward Yancy Gates, Thomas, and Bishop led the way for six Bearcats in double figures, scoring 12 points each. Senior guard Larry Davis added a season-high 11 and freshman guard Sean Kilpatrick poured in 10.
Senior forward Darnell Wilks led the squad with eight rebounds, tying his career high previously set on Jan. 16, 2010.
Sophomore point guard Cashmere Wright dished out seven assists and added nine points.
Eighth consecutive start for this group.
