The No. 21/20 University of Cincinnati men's basketball team travels to Piscataway, N.J., to take on Rutgers on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.  The game will be televised by FOX Sports Ohio and ESPN3. It also can be heard on 700 WLW-AM.

UC (13-3, 1-2 BIG EAST) is looking to snap a two-game losing streak after consecutive setbacks at home to St. John's (53-52) and No. 17 Notre Dame (66-60).

Sean Kilpatrick led the Bearcats against the Irish on Monday, scoring 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting with a trio of three-pointers. Cheikh Mbodj, JaQuon Parker and Jermaine Sanders added eight points each.   

Rutgers (11-3, 2-1 BIG EAST) is coming off a 58-56 road win at St. John's on Wednesday. Dane Miller led the Scarlet Knights with 11 points while Mike Poole and Austin Johnson added 10 points each. EliCarter contributed eight points and a team-high seven rebounds.

Rutgers won last season's meeting with Cincinnati 61-54 in New Jersey. Cincinnati leads the series 12-4 overall. The series is tied 3-3 at Rutgers.

Cincinnati Storylines
-Cincinnati plays five of its next seven games on the road beginning with Rutgers on Saturday. The Bearcats are 5-0 away from Fifth Third Arena this season and have won 10 of their last 12 games away from home dating back to a 72-68 victory at Villanova in the 2012 BIG EAST regular-season finale on March 3.
-Saturday's game at Rutgers also begins a stretch of four games in 10 days for the Bearcats.  
-Teams are averaging 11.86 points below their season scoring average when playing the Bearcats. UC is limiting opponents to only 36.5 percent shooting from the field - second in the BIG EAST and ninth in the nation.
-The Bearcats have allowed their opponent to score 60 or more points in only three games since the start of December.
-Mick Cronin is one win shy from taking sole possession of third place on the UC career coaching wins list. He matched Gale Catlett (126 wins from 1973-78) for third place.
-Since the start of the 2010-11 season Cincinnati ranks third in the league with 65 overall wins, behind only Syracuse (75) and Louisville (68). The Bearcats are tied for fourth in the conference with Louisville at 24 league wins behind only Syracuse (30), Notre Dame (29) and Marquette (25).  
-Junior transfer forward Titus Rubles made his first start as a Bearcat on Monday against Notre Dame. Rubles enters the Rutgers game tied for team-high honors in rebounding (5.7 rpg) and is second in assists (2.4 apg). He ranks fourth in scoring (6.9 points).
-The Bearcats will continue to wear their special edition "Black Out" uniforms designed and developed by adidas on Saturday against Rutgers. UC wore the uniforms for the first time Monday against Notre Dame.

Scouting Rutgers
-Rutgers has won seven of its last eight games overall and is 7-1 at home heading into Saturday's contest.
-Rutgers ranks among the BIG EAST leaders in free-throw shooting (first at 74.0 percent ), field goal shooting (third at 47.0 percent) three-point shooting (tied for fourth at 34.8 percent).
-Guard Eli Carter leads Rutgers in scoring (16.9 points) and three-pointers (26). He was named to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll on Monday after averaging 21.0 points and shooting 13 of 27 from the field in two games last week. He made 8 of 9 free throws and scored 23 points in the Rutgers win over No. 22 Pittsburgh last Saturday. He scored 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting at then-No. 7 Syracuse on Jan. 2.
-Guard Myles Mack leads the team in steals (2.07 per game) and ranks second in scoring (12.9) and three-pointers (25)
-Forward Wally Judge leads Rutgers with 6.6 rebounds per game.
-The Scarlet Knights were picked to finish 11th in the BIG EAST according to a preseason poll of league coaches.
-Rutgers was 14-18 overall last season with a 6-12 league record, finishing 11th in the conference standings.
