Cincinnati Plays at No. 18/19 Marquette on Saturday

The University of Cincinnati plays at No. 18/19 Marquette on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET. The game will be televised by ESPNU and ESPN3 and can be heard on 700 WLW-AM.

The Bearcats (17-7, 7-4 BIG EAST) are coming off a 76-54 road win at St. John’s on Wednesday. Four Bearcats scored in double figures led by Sean Kilpatrick and Yancy Gates, who tallied 14 points each. Cashmere Wright recorded his first double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

The Golden Eagles (20-5, 9-3 BIG EAST) have won eight of their last nine games, including an 89-76 road victory at DePaul on Monday. Darius Johnson-Odom led all scorers with 23 points against the Blue Demons.

UC has won its last three road games this season against ranked opponents, defeating  then-No. 22 Pittsburgh (66-63 on Jan. 1); then-No. 11 Georgetown (68-64 on Jan. 9); and then-No. 13 Connecticut (70-67 on Jan. 18).

The Bearcats lead the series with Marquette 25-18 all-time, including a 67-60 decision in Milwaukee on March 2, 2011.

The Bearcats have won seven of their first 11 games to start league play for the first time since joining the conference (beginning with the 2005-06 season).
