SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES
-Darius Johnson-Odom scored 17 points and Chris Otule added 16 as Marquette beat Providence 86-62 on Sunday.
-Junior Jae Crowder and sophomore Junior Cadougan both collected double-doubles in the win over Providence, but each player accomplished the feat in a completely different manner.
-Crowder finished with 12 points and a career-best 13 rebounds in just 23 minutes of action off the bench for his second career double-double. Cadougan played 30 minutes and concluded the night with a personal-best 10 points and 10 assists.
-Johnson-Odom paces the Golden Eagles in points per game (16. 1), while Crowder leads the team in rebounding (7.2). ff Marquette ranks 20th in the NCAA in points per game average, scoring 77.4 per outing.
