The Cincinnati Bearcats (18-12, 8-9 BIG EAST) close out the regular season at home Saturday, March 7 with Senior Day vs. Seton Hall (15-14, 6-11 BIG EAST) at Noon ET. Saturday’s game will be televised on ESPN360 with John Sanders handling the play-by-play duties and Cedric Toney providing analysis. UC looks to snap a two-game skid after dropping back-to-back decisions on the road last week, losing at Syracuse, 87-63, and at USF, 70-59. Seton Hall also looks to end the regular-season on a positive note having lost five of its last six, including a 95-78 decision on Wednesday at No. 6/6 Louisville. The Bearcats have locked up the No. 9 seed in the BIG EAST Conference Championship and will play the first game of the tournament vs. the No. 16 seed on Tuesday, March 10 at Noon.
This will be the 10th meeting between Cincinnati and Seton Hall and just the second played in Fifth Third Arena. The Bearcats took the first meeting in Cincinnati, 70-67 in overtime, on Feb. 28, 2007. UC holds a one-game edge in the series, 5-3, after the Pirates took last year’s match-up, 64-61, in New Jersey. The first six games were played on neutral courts between 1955-1979.
