Bearcats to Host NCAA Send Off, Watch Party

CINCINNATI- The University of Cincinnati will play host to an NCAA tournament send off celebration this Wednesday, March 14, for the men’s basketball team prior to its departure to Nashville, Tenn. The send off will take place at the Richard E. Lindner Center south entrance, Victory Plaza, beginning at 1:15 p.m. and the team will be departing promptly at 1:30 p.m. Fans are asked to arrive at 1:00 p.m.

Head coach Mick Cronin will address the crowd. The first 300 fans will receive a complimentary Bearcat spirit shaker, a hot dog, bag of chips and a bottled water. Fans are asked to line up as a tunnel from Victory Plaza along O’Varsity Way towards the team bus that will be parked at the end of O’Varsity Way near Corry Blvd. Complimentary parking will be available in Calhoun Garage between 12:45 and 1:45 p.m.

No. 6 seed Cincinnati will play No. 11 seed Texas in second-round action of the NCAA Championship on Friday, March 16, beginning at 12:15 p.m. ET on CBS. The victor will play the winner of the Florida State-St. Bonaventure contest on Sunday at a time yet to be announced. Tickets for the Nashville location are available here.
