CINCINNATI - Deonta Vaughn (Indianapolis, Ind./Harmony Community), the University of Cincinnati's third all-time leading scorer with 1,885 points, has signed a contract to play this upcoming season with Polpharma Starogard Gdansk in Poland.

Vaughn finished his UC career ranking among the Top 5 in 10 different career categories. In addition to ranking third in points, he was first all-time in assists, starts, minutes played and 3-point field goals made and attempted.

Since 2006-07 when head coach Mick Cronin took over the Bearcats, eighth players have gone on to play professionally overseas. Vaughn joins fellow UC senior Steve Toyloy who signed to play in Turkey last week.

Last season, Polpharma finished third in the PLK League with a record of 18-8.
