CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics announced Friday that active UCATS members have the opportunity to purchase 2011-12 men’s basketball single-game tickets for two days – Oct. 3-4 – before they are made available to the general public beginning Oct. 5.

Coming off a 26-9 season and trip to the third round of the NCAA Tournament, the 2011-12 Bearcats return their top four scorers and have been listed among the nation’s Top 25 teams in several preseason publications.

The 2011-12 home slate features 18 home dates at Fifth Third Arena, including nine games against BIG EAST Conference opponents.

Season tickets in the Bearcat Lair (upper-level, non-chairback section) start at only $166. Ticket packages are also available via the Represent the C Mini Plan for just $100.  Games include Notre Dame (Jan. 4), Villanova (Jan. 14), Syracuse (Jan. 23) and Louisville (Feb. 23).

The Bearcats’ contest with Oklahoma at US Bank Arena on Dec. 29 is considered a neutral site game and is not included in season ticket packages for UCATS members. Lower-level tickets are $30 while upper level seats are $20. Tickets are currently available to UCATS members. The general public can purchase US Bank Arena tickets beginning October 17 through ticketmaster.com.

UCATS members interested in purchasing tickets should contact the UC ticket office at 1-877-CATS-TIX or locally at (513) 558-2287.
