Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout Luncheon to Celebrate 75th UC-XU Hoops Meeting

CINCINNATI - Ten tables remain for the annual Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout Luncheon, to be held Monday, December 10 at the Duke Energy Center beginning at 11 a.m. Tickets are $30 per person and include lunch by Skyline Chili; a limited number of tables with former UC and XU players are available for $500 for a seating of nine people.

  Both coaches, Mick Cronin from the University of Cincinnati and Sean Miller from Xavier University, will be on hand to discuss the match-up and preview the game, to be held Wednesday, December 12 at the Cintas Center along with some 20 former players from both schools. The luncheon also will include a tribute to former Xavier University basketball coach Skip Prosser, who died this past year at Wake Forest University.

  Proceeds from the event will support both school's scholarship funds. Sponsors for this year's luncheon include: Skyline Chili, National City, Com Doc, Beacon Orthopaedics, FOX 19, Business Courier, WLW-AM. Game Day Communications is the producer of the event.



  This year's luncheon will be highlighted by a new Fan Zone outside the ballroom, where fans of both schools can play cornhole, have photos taken with former XU and UC basketball greats and listen to the two schools' bands.
