Assistant Director, Football Strength & Conditioning
David Neil came to the University of Cincinnati in January of 2013 as an assistant director of football strength and conditioning.
Neill came to UC after serving the 2012 season as an assistant football strength and conditioning coach at his alma mater, Texas Tech.
He played in 36 games for the Red Raiders, seeing action on the offensive and defensive lines and on special teams. He played defensive tackle until early in the 2010 season and moved to the offensive line, playing every position except for center.
He finished his senior campaign in 2011 with 81 tackles, including 53 solo stops, nine tackles for a loss, six sacks, two forced fumbles and four pass break ups.
He was a two-time First-Team Academic All-Big 12 selection as a junior (2010) and a senior (2011).
Neill earned a pair of degrees in Lubbock, a bachelor's in exercise science in 2011 and a master's in sport management in 2012.
Neill, a native of Highland Village, Texas, and his wife Ally, live in Northern Kentucky.
