Andy Frigge is in his third season as an assistant equipment manager with the UC football team.
Frigge, a 2009 UC graduate, assists head equipment manager Todd McMinn in the day-to-day operations of the football equipment room in the Richard E. Lindner Center.
Frigge's responsibilities include the maintenance and organization of all football practice and game equipment, laundry, fitting, and helping oversee the 10-member student assistant program.
His responsibilities for home and away games and practices consist of the setup and teardown of Nippert Stadium, UC's home and game locker rooms, as well as ensuring equipment is ready for travel.
While an undergraduate at UC, Frigge was the student manager for the men's soccer team for four years (2005-09). In that role, he was responsible for all equipment, in-game filming, set up and tear down of practice while assisting the coaching staff in several logistical roles.
Frigge earned his bachelor's degree in communications from UC's McMicken College of Arts and Sciences in 2009.
