On Saturday's win over Miami
"I thought it was a businesslike performance. I thought our kids came in and were really focused and not too emotional. We talked all week about the separation of being enthusiastic and playing emotional. We have too many rivalry games to be emotional. We have to play at a consistent level. It is so important that when we come out and play in a game like this that we are businesslike in everything we do. That was really the tone all week and I thought our kids went out there and played hard and executed in a businesslike fashion for four quarters."
On starting Dustin Grutza at quarterback over Ben Mauk
"Ben had a tired shoulder. He (Mauk) just didn't have the zip on the ball and I didn't like the way the ball was hanging out during the week on some perimeter throws. We have two other guys (Dustin Grutza and Tony Pike) in the bullpen that can play a little bit."
Dustin Grutza On making the start against Miami "This is one of our rivalry games and we came out well-prepared for Miami. We never take any game like this lightly. The offense did well, the defense did well and it was a great opportunity for our team."
On his preparation for today's game during the week of practice "I prepare for every game like I will be starting, so it was a real blessing to get out and play again."
On the chemistry with Grutza
"I have played during the last few years and Dustin has started during the past few years, so we have connected a lot during practice through a lot of reps in these past few years.
