Butler Benton converted a 4th and one on the first drive, which let to Bradley Glathaar's 1-yard touchdown plunge and a 7-0 Bearcats lead with 5:55 left in the first quarter. UC's first drive was 14 plays covering 69 yards in 5:40, the Bearcats' longest scoring drive of the season (plays and time).
Ben Mauk threw just his second interception of the season on the Bearcats' second drive. It was the first turnover for UC since the fourth quarter of the Oregon State game (eight quarters). The resulting 33-yard field goal by SDSU's Garrett Palmer marked the first points allowed off a turnover by the Bearcats this season.
Ben Mauk threw his third touchdown pass of the game, an 80-yard strike to Marcus Barnett, pushing UC's lead to 28-3. The 80-yard pass was the longest play from scrimmage since a Nick Davila to Brent Celek 83-yard pass and run against Rutgers on Nov. 18, 2006. The two-play, 14-second drive was the quickest scoring drive of the season for UC.

UC's three turnovers were a season high.
Aaron Webster's fourth-quarter interception and 58-yard return for touchdown marked both the first interception and first touchdown of his career. It was UC's third interception return for a touchdown this season.
UC's 52 points are the most scored since a 52-24 win at No. 21 Southern Miss on Nov. 6, 2004.
The Bearcats are 5-0 for the first time since 1954 and extended their winning streak to eight games, the longest since the 1954 team started 8-0.
