Mardy Gilyard had a reception on UC's third play from scrimmage, giving him a catch in 13-straight games.
Armon Binns had an 80-yard reception for a touchdown in the first quarter, his third-straight game with a touchdown and a career-long reception.
Binns added a second touchdown, a 13-yard acrobatic catch, on UC's first drive in the third quarter. It is his second multiple TD game and career.
He finished with 5 catches for a career-best 138 yards, the first 100-yard plus receiving game of his career.
The 80-yard pass from Zach Collaros was a career-long completion and UC's longest pass play from scrimmage since Nick Davila found Brent Celek on an 83-yard touchdown strike against Rutgers on Nov. 11, 2006.
UC scored its second touchdown of the day after Collaros took a bad snap on a field goal attempt, scrambled and found Kazeem Alli open in the end zone for a 16-yard score.
It was Alli's first touchdown of the 2009 season and his first since Nov. 29, 2008, also against the Orange. Two of his three career scores have come against Syracuse.
Drew Frey picked off a Greg Paulus pass in the end zone with 2:32 left in the first half. It was his second interception of the season and his career.
Derek Wolfe forced and recovered a fumble with 2:45 left in the third quarter as Syracuse was driving in the red zone. After Drew Frey made the initial stop, Wolfe poked the ball out and fell on it to give UC possession. It was his the first forced fumble and recover for Wolfe in his career.
Collaros finished 22-of-28 for a career-high 295 yards and a career best four touchdowns
His four passing touchdowns were the most for a Cincinnati QB since Ben Mauk threw four scores against Southern Miss in the 2007 Papajohns.com Bowl on Dec. 22, 2007.
Jacob Rogers had a 54-yard punt in the fourth quarter, matching his season high.
Adrien Robinson caught a 4-yard touchdown pass from Collaros in the fourth quarter. It was Robinson's first career TD.
Isaiah Pead finished with 77 yards rushing on 11 carries with a long run of 33 yards.
JK Schaffer led the Bearcats with eight tackles, all solo stops.
