The report said: Recruiting is a grind, but no one works harder on the recruiting trail than UC assistant Robert Prunty. He won Big 12 Recruiter of the Year twice at Texas Tech signing 16 and 14 recruits in one cycle and he has brought that double digit magic with him to Cincinnati. This year he played a huge factor in helping the Bearcats finish with the one of top classes in the conference by helping it ink 12 players, half of the 24-man class. He had a nice signing day splash with U.S. Army All-American linebacker Kevin Mouhon from Norcross (Ga.) High.

Prunty is a 21-year coaching veteran with strong ties to the east coast of the United States. He previously served as the head coach at Hargrave Military Academy where 27 of his former players went on to play in the NFL.
