UC To Break Ground On Jefferson Avenue Sports Complex
March 15, 2010
CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati will break ground on its $15.5 million Jefferson Avenue Sports Complex on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 2-2:30 p.m. The event is not open to the public. Plans include two practice fields: a 100-yard practice field that can be converted into an indoor facility via an inflatable “bubble,” and an additional 50-yard practice field. The fields will serve the university’s varsity sports programs, functioning as the competitive home of the women’s lacrosse team and as an integral part of the Greater Cincinnati community. The state-of-the-art Jefferson Avenue Sports Complex will play a vital role in recruiting the nation’s best and brightest student-athletes to the University of Cincinnati.
