CINCINNATI - Bearcat Bowl IV, the University of Cincinnati's 15th and final practice of the 2010 spring season, will air live throughout the state of Ohio on FOX Sports Ohio and nationwide on FOX College Sports on April 24 from 7-9 p.m.
The production of UC Athletics will feature Tom Gelehrter (play-by-play), Jim Kelly Jr. (analyst), and Artrell Hawkins (sideline reporter) calling the action from Nippert Stadium as the back-to-back BIG EAST Conference Champions wrap up their first spring under head coach Butch Jones.
Admission is free and open to all patrons. Fans are encouraged to sit on the east side of Nippert, opposite the press box.
Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. The first 5,000 fans to enter will receive a 2010 schedule magnet. Upon exit, fans will be presented a commemorative rolled Sugar Bowl poster.
Bearcat Bowl IV is only one of several events taking place on the Clifton campus on April 24.
Coach Jones, his staff, and selected student-athletes will lead the annual free youth football clinic for players up to eighth grade, which will take place on the Nippert turf at 3 p.m. Registration begins at 2:30 p.m. Following the clinic, selected student-athletes from the football team will be on hand to sign autographs.
The Bearcats Family Zone on Sheakley Lawn will be open from 5-6:30 p.m. The Family Zone will feature many of the activities normally seen on a regular football game day such as inflatable games, cornhole, KIDS CLUB coloring contest, face painting and a opportunity to meet the 2009 Capital One Mascot of the Year, BEARCAT.
Account executives will be available April 24, the deadline for 2010 Bearcats Football season ticket renewals, from 5-8:30 p.m. at the Athletics Ticket Office inside the Richard E. Lindner Center to help season ticket holders renew their tickets or purchase new season ticket plans.
