Bearcat Bowl III, the University of Cincinnati football team's annual spring game, will be shown on FOX Sports Ohio Saturday, May 2, at noon and Saturday, May 16, at 1 p.m., the Department of Athletics announced Monday.
Bearcat Bowl III, UC's 15th and final workout of the spring, took place at Nippert Stadium on Saturday, April 25, in front of a record crowd of 12,491 fans.
Tom Gelehrter (play-by-play), and former UC standouts Jim Kelly Jr. (analyst), Artrell Hawkins (sideline), and Jason Collins-Baker (sideline) called the action.
Tony Pike finished the game 25-of-35 with 210 yards and one touchdown, while Zach Collaros completed 9-of-13 passes for 146 yards, including a 65-yard touchdown strike to Danny Milligan.
J.K. Shaffer and Marcus Waugh finished with seven tackles apiece for the game. Ricardo Mathews led the way with two sacks while Derek Wolfe and Steve Hancock each recorded one.
Armon Binns and Ben Guidugli each grabbed seven receptions on the night, finishing with 74 and 59 receiving yards, respectively.
The Bearcats will open the 2009 season on Monday, Sept. 7, in a 4 p.m. BIG EAST Conference game at Rutgers.
