Jefferson Ave. Complex Update
WEST HARRISON, Ind. - The University of Cincinnati football team held a two-hour workout under the lights at the Higher Ground Conference and Retreat Center Thursday, as the team wrapped up its first of two weeks in West Harrison, Ind. In addition to numerous position group drills, there were 1-on-1 sessions with the defensive backs and receivers on a long field and in the red zone.
Members of UCATS’ George Smith Society were on hand for the evening at Higher Ground. The patrons joined the team for dinner, sitting with UC players and coaches, before attending position group meetings, and taking in the two-hour workout from the field.
A crew of BIG EAST Conference officials has been at practice the past few days. The officials took time to meet with UC coaches and players to go over decisions and rules of emphasis for the 2010 season.
