Coach Jones Press Conference | Coach Addae Interview
WEST HARRISON, Ind. - The University of Cincinnati football team held its media day and a single 20-period practice at the Higher Ground Conference and Retreat Center Friday in West Harrison, Ind.
In the morning, the Bearcats held their annual media and photo day. Players gathered on the practice fields to take individual, group, and the team photos for the season. Head coach Butch Jones held a mid-camp press conference at noon, which fans can view by clicking the link above.
UC held a two-hour workout in the afternoon in helmets and shells.
Members of the 1200 Club attended practice at Higher Ground Friday. Members attended practice, met the players on the field after the workout and sat with the players and staff for dinner. After dinner, Coach Jones addressed the assembled group, updating them on the club, giving a state of the program update through the first two weeks of camp, as well as taking questions from the crowd.
A crew of BIG EAST Conference officials has been at practice the past few days. The officials took time to meet with UC coaches and players to go over decisions and rules of emphasis for the 2010 season.

UC will practice Saturday at Higher Ground ahead of Meet the Team Day Sunday at Kings Island. UC is scheduled to return to campus on the morning of Aug. 26. All practices at Higher Ground are closed to the general public.
KINGS ISLAND MEET THE TEAM EVENT ON SUNDAY, AUG. 22 FROM 1-3 P.M.
On Sunday, Aug. 22, head coach Butch Jones and the two-time defending BIG EAST Champions will make the trek to Kings Island for their annual “Meet the Team Day.” Beginning at 12:45 pm, the team will walk down International Street and will take part in a program on the main stage underneath the Eiffel Tower. Following the short program, student-athletes will take part in an autograph session until 3 p.m.

The Bearcats open the 2010 season on Saturday, Sept. 4 at Fresno State. Kickoff is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET and the game will be televised on ESPN2.
