Sept. 13, 2013
CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati senior quarterback Munchie Legaux (New Orleans, La./Edna Karr) underwent successful surgery on Friday, September 13 at UC Medical Center.
The Bearcats' Director of Orthopedic Services, Dr. Angelo Colosimo performed the operation to repair several ligaments in Legaux's injured left knee.
Legaux is in good spirits and resting comfortably. He has already begun the rehabilitation process geared towards an eventual return to football. He will miss the remainder of the 2013 season.

In 31 career games, Legaux has thrown for nearly 3,000 yards (2,847), going 205-for-396 with 20 touchdowns. He has averaged 5.5 yards per rush, adding seven TDs and 627 yards on the ground.
