A total of 20 former Bearcats are currently on NFL rosters for the 2013 season.

A quartet of Bearcats have played big roles for the Philadelphia Eagles (1-1). On the offensive side, Brent Celek (TE, 2003-06) and Jason Kelce (C, 2007-10) aid arguably the fastest offense in the NFL. In two weeks of play, Celek has a pair of catches for 56 yards a touchdown, while Kelce has started both games at center. Defensively, Connor Barwin (LB, 2005-08) and Trent Cole (LB, 2002-04) both start in the Eagles' 3-4 defensive scheme. Barwin has 10 tackles on the season, including on sack, while Cole has eight tackles and forced two fumbles, which is tied for the most in the league.

Rookie wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins (WR, 2011-12) has been one of Tom Brady's top targets on the New England Patriots' (2-0) receiving core. Thompkins has six catches for 89 yards on 14 total targets.

Kevin Huber (P, 2007-08) has been a solid punter for the Cincinnati Bengals (1-1) by totaling 11 punts for an average of 47.2 with a long of 61 yards. This past week he pinned the Steelers inside the 20 three times and was a crucial part in their 20-10 win over the division rival on Monday Night Football.

J.K. Schaffer (LB, 2008-11) was taken off the Bengals' practice squad this past Monday and made his NFL debut on MNF but did not record a tackle.

Derek Wolfe (DE, 2008-11) has started at defensive end each of the last two weeks for the Denver Broncos (2-0), generating seven tackles.

John Hughes (DT, 2008-11) has been in the rotation on the Cleveland Browns (0-2) defensive line, while Ricardo Mathews (DT, 2006-09) has seen time with the Indianapolis Colts (1-1). Hughes has five tackles on the year, and Mathews has two.

Former UC running back Isaiah Pead (RB, 2008-11) saw action this past weekend with the St. Louis Rams (1-1) as he had two catches for 18 yards and one carry for one yard.

Sean Hooey (OL, 2010-12) is currently on the Rams' practice squad.

Mike Windt (LS, 2007-09) has played in both games this season for the San Diego Chargers (1-1) and has two tackles on the year.

Travis Kelce (TE, 2009, 2011-12) and Jeff Linkenbach (T, 2006-09) have been active for their respective teams, but neither has seen action. Kelce plays for the Kansas City Chiefs (2-0), and Linkenbach is with the Colts.

A total of five former Bearcats have not seen action the last two weeks because of injuries. Those players include Armon Binns (WR, 2007-10), Dan Giordano (LB, 2009-12), Vidal Hazelton (WR, 2010), Haruki Nakamura (S, 2004-07) and Adrien Robinson (TE, 2008-11).
