CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics expects a large crowd this Saturday, October 19 for the UC vs. UConn football game and homecoming festivities. Fans are encouraged to come early, be loud and wear black with kickoff beginning at noon in historic Nippert Stadium.
Due to Homecoming festivities, fans should be aware of the traditional Homecoming parade route and resulting street closings around campus. The annual parade will begin at 8:30 a.m. beginning at Calhoun and Clifton avenues and concluding on Martin Luther King Avenue.
PARADE ROUTE AND STREET CLOSINGS
UC's Homecoming parade at 8:30 a.m. will affect the following streets around campus:
- Calhoun Street, between Vine Street and Clifton Avenue, will close at 7:30 a.m.
- Clifton Avenue, between McMillan and Martin Luther King Jr. avenues, will close at 8:15 a.m.
- Eastbound traffic on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue between Clifton Avenue and Woodside Drive will be restricted prior to the start of the parade. The eastbound right-hand lane (the lane closest to campus) will be closed; the middle and left-hand lanes will remain open. Westbound traffic will remain unaffected.

Cash parking on game day is ($15 per car) at Campus Green, Woodside, Clifton Court, Stratford and Eden Garages.
Due to the annual Homecoming parade, access to Clifton Court garage and Stratford Garage (accessed off Clifton Ave.) will be closed at 8:00 a.m. and will reopen after the parade route passes Clifton Court at approximately 9:30 a.m.
