CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati Athletics Ticket Office continues to sell bowl ticket credits online for $50.  These credits will reserve a ticket to the  Bearcats’ upcoming Bowl Championship Series game, which will be officially announced on Sunday, December 7 at 8 p.m. on FOX.

UC, ranked No. 13 in the latest Associated Press poll, tied its highest ever ranking in the AP poll, dating back to Nov. 1, 1954. The Bearcats No. 12 standing in the latest USA Today poll tops its best mark of No. 16, achieved a week ago.

Cincinnati (10-2, 6-1 BIG EAST) won its first outright conference championship since 1964 after knocking off Syracuse 30-10 in front of 34,603 fans at Nippert Stadium Saturday.

The Bearcats tied the school record for wins and earned the first back-to-back 10-win season in program history.

UC has earned the BIG EAST’s automatic bid to the BCS and will learn its postseason destination on Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. during the BCS Selection Show on FOX.

The Bearcats close out the regular season on Dec. 6, heading to Hawai’i to take on the Warriors in Aloha Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 11:30 p.m. EST and the game will air on ESPN2.

BCS ANNOUNCEMENT

Plans are being finalized for a public event on the UC Campus that will coincide with FOX's nationally televised  BCS Selection Show on Sunday, December  7.  Check GoBEARCATS.com this week for the latest information.

BCS TICKETS

Tickets will officially go on sale on Monday, December 8 at 8 a.m.  If you have a $50 bowl ticket credit, you will be able to deduct that dollar amount off of the final cost of the ticket price.

For example, if the cost of the BCS Bowl Ticket is $125 and you have purchased one (1) bowl ticket credit of $50, the final cost of your BCS Bowl ticket will be $75.

Once sold,  UC’s bowl tickets will be assigned using the following criteria:

1. UCATS Priority Points System
2. Date of Bowl Ticket Credit Purchase (Non UCATS members)

Bearcats fans are encouraged to purchase all tickets through the UC Athletics Ticket Office.  This will insure that the tickets are in the official Cincinnati Fan section of the BCS Venue.  UC Athletics is able to guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased directly from UC.

Distribution of the bowl tickets will be determined once the date of the game is finalized on December 7.

TRAVEL

UC Athletics is working with Provident Travel to assemble the “Official Travel Packages” for UC Patrons.  These packages will be announced on Monday, Dec. 8 on GoBEARCATS.com.

BIG EAST Championship/BCS Merchandise

adidas,  the official footwear and apparel provider to UC Athletics, is shipping BIG EAST Championship Merchandise to retailers beginning Monday, Dec. 1. BCS Merchandise will follow as  soon as the Bearcats’ game is finalized.
